Chris Hawkesworth (Chair)
Emeritus Professor of Geochemistry, University of St Andrews and Senior Research Associate of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol
Emeritus Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol and the University of St Andrews. Chris is a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and is an Honorary Member of the Royal Irish Academy. He was previously the Deputy Principal and Vice-Principal for Research at the University of St Andrews. He has chaired a Scientific Advisory Board for the Max Planck Society, review panels in Australia and South Africa, and chaired the National Geological Screening Independent Review Panel for Radioactive Waste Disposal.
