The UK Young Academy hosted its second annual All Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 20 March 2024 at the Royal Society, London. This meeting brought together members from around the UK and was the first opportunity for the new 2024 cohort to meet the wider membership.
Sessions included updates on UK Young Academy activities and programmes, presentations from member-led projects, and a plenary talk from Alok Jha, Science and Technology Editor at The Economist. Attendees also had the opportunity to have their say on the Young Academy’s workplan moving forward and conduct project ideation through roundtable discussions. The day concluded with an evening drinks reception and formal dinner with members and special invited guests.
This event signified a significant milestone as we continue to lay the foundation for future initiatives and partnerships within the UK Young Academy.
