Bio

Alex Lloyd is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL. His research focussed on understanding social, emotional and cognitive factors that underpin the risk for mental health problems in adolescence. Through this line of work, he aims to develop interventions that can help prevent the onset or worsening of mental health problems during this developmental period. Alex completed his PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. Alex is also a trustee at the youth work charity Dragon Hall Trust and has given a TEDx talk on the importance of taking a public health approach to youth crime.
