Bio
Aqil Jaigirdar is the CEO of Gravida Ltd, an AI-driven platform designed to predict high-risk pregnancies in the first trimester, backed by the Bangladesh Government. He is a medical doctor, global health leader and entrepreneur transforming maternal healthcare through scalable innovation. As a GP Registrar in London and Research Fellow at King’s College London, he is passionate about tackling health inequalities and closing the ‘health gap’. While still a medical student, he founded the Maternal Aid Association (MAA), a non-profit that has since grown to provide free maternal care to over 500,000 women in South Asia, leading a team of 250 members in four countries.
Aqil has led multi-award-winning projects, empowered students from 60 universities to raise over £1 million for maternal health initiatives, and delivered keynotes on digital health worldwide, including TEDxCambridgeUniversity. He also engages the public as a health TV presenter, promoting well-being in local communities.
