Bio

Ruth Bowness is a Reader and Medical Research Council Fellow at the University of Bath. She is also Director of the Centre for Mathematical Biology at Bath. Ruth is an Associate Editor for the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology and the Journal of Mathematical Biology. Her research focuses on mathematical modelling of infectious diseases within the human host, where she uses differential equations and individual-based models to mimic disease progression and simulate novel treatment strategies.
