I think the UK Young Academy should be helping organisations and the government to reduce inequalities that have increased considerably after the pandemic by providing a platform to support inclusive change.
Bio
Vanissa Wanick is a UX Designer, Researcher and Educator and who studies how games influence people’s behaviour and decision-making. Vanissa wears different ‘hats’ as a designer, a mum, an academic, lab convenor, collaborator and an entrepreneur. She has been in the academic field since 2017 but has worked in the design industry since 2006 (mostly in Brazil). Vanissa’s main area of work involves many aspects of design education and practice – particularly in the area of games design and Human-computer interaction.
