Bio
Sarah-Jane is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University. Formerly, she was a Technology Transfer fellow, enabling the upscale and optimisation of printed perovskite solar photovoltaics at the same institution.
Sarah-Jane holds an Engineering Masters (MEng) in Product Design Engineering and an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Materials Engineering.
Her current research focusses on utilising additive manufacturing technique, such as screen-printing, to develop novel energy solutions, with a circular economy approach.
As the Current President of the South Wales Materials Association (SWMA) (IOM3 affiliated local society) and the Regional Education Officer for the IMechE South Wales Region Panel, Sarah-Jane is dedicated to providing opportunities for Engineers and Scientists to share their skills and ideas in a welcoming and inclusive network.
She is also a passionate, award-winning STEM Ambassador with a decade of experience in organising and providing public engagement and outreach events with thousands of young people.
