The UK Young Academy is pleased to host its next Regional Meeting in Cardiff, offering an in-person opportunity for members to connect and collaborate. This event is part of our ongoing regional series, designed to promote local engagement and strengthen the UK Young Academy’s network.
At the Cardiff meeting, UK Young Academy members will explore the newly developed provisional regional toolkit, designed to support local meetups and encourage new initiatives within the network. The toolkit is shaped by feedback from our initial regional gathering in Liverpool and aims to empower members with resources tailored for local collaboration. Participants will also have the chance to discuss priorities unique to the region and share insights to inform the growth of future meetings.
In the afternoon, doors will open to invited guests, including representatives from the Learned Society of Wales Early Career Network and the Welsh Crucible. This session will feature a development workshop focused on leadership skills and the exchange of best practices, allowing all attendees to gain valuable insights and strengthen connections across disciplines and communities.
