Bio

Imrose is a Civil Engineer and Senior Lecturer in Civil and Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering at Teesside University. With a PhD from the University of Newcastle, Australia, he has spent the past decade researching and advocating for sustainable construction practices. His experience spans academia and industry across four countries: the UK, Australia, South Korea, and Bangladesh.

He is involved in a number of European and British research projects on circular construction and AI-driven solutions. He is frequently invited to speak on zero-carbon built environments in various countries.

Committed to advancing knowledge and serving the community, Imrose actively advises ICE Knowledge Networks on Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure. Additionally, he contributes to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council as a Climate Coalition (Business) member, supporting the Borough in achieving its net-zero targets through collaboration with local businesses.
