Bio

Intigam Mamedov is a researcher and lecturer with expertise in Russian and post-Soviet politics and security. He received his PhD in Political Science and International Relations (2017) from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Intigam’s current research focuses on the role of narratives and discourse in international conflicts, ideologies and identity-building strategies. Intigam taught widely on undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including ‘Theory of International Relations’, ‘Foreign Policy Analysis’ and ‘Russian politics’. On a regular basis, he provides expert commentary to media outlets. Intigam has vast experience in higher education administration and academic internationalisation.
