Bio

Dhruti Shah is a multi-award-winning neurodivergent journalist, author and storytelling consultant. She brings two decades of experience at the BBC as a journalist, producer and editor, where she worked across investigations, business, verification, and did a stint in the US where she broke digital records. Now independent, she has written for The Guardian, The Washington Post, The New Humanitarian, New Scientist, New Humanist and The I.

She is the author of the award-winning Bear Markets and Beyond: A Bestiary of Business Terms and is also a published short story writer and poet. She has performed at the Hammersmith Lyric Theatre, Story Collider and Be You Festival. She is creator-host of the award-shortlisted Have You Thought About podcast and newsletter.

A recipient of five global fellowships, she advises the Museum of Colour, is a Clore Cultural Leader, was shortlisted for the Häagen-Dazs Rose Project, and is a TV Foundation Visionary.
