Bio

Sarah-Jane Dunlop-Potts is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University. Formerly, she was a Technology Transfer fellow, enabling the upscale and optimisation of printed perovskite solar photovoltaics at the same institution.

Sarah-Jane holds an Engineering Masters (MEng) in Product Design Engineering and an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Materials Engineering. Her research focuses on utilising additive manufacturing techniques, such as screen-printing, to develop novel energy solutions, with a circular economy approach.

As the current Regional Education Officer for the Institute of Mechanical Engineers South Wales Region Panel and former president of the South Wales Materials Association, Sarah-Jane is dedicated to providing opportunities for Engineers and Scientists to share their skills and ideas in a welcoming and inclusive network.

She is also a passionate, award-winning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Ambassador with a decade of experience in organising and providing public engagement and outreach events with thousands of young people.
