Bio
Freda Tait is a strategic projects and change leader with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Queen Mary, University of London. Leveraging her scientific expertise and diverse experience spanning pharmaceutical development, supply chain management, and regulatory affairs, Freda brings a unique perspective to driving organisational transformation and operational excellence at AstraZeneca.
Freda is dedicated to addressing underrepresentation in the chemical sciences and supporting the next generation of talent. She has led workplace employee resource groups, while externally, she sits on the Board of Trustees for Tutors United, a charity on a mission to end the attainment and employability gap through the power of community-based tutoring. Through the Royal Society of Chemistry, Freda mentors on the Broadening Horizons Programme and leads a grant-funded initiative to enhance socioeconomic inclusion in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
