Bio

Siva is a drug discovery scientist and pharmacist with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and pharmacy practice. She has a track record of leadership in drug design and development for applications in infectious and metabolic diseases. She is passionate about early talent development, and promotes embedding entrepreneurialism, diversity, and multi-disciplinary approaches into talent nurturing.

Siva was born and raised in Malaysia and studied Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. She completed pharmacy pre-registration training at GlaxoSmithKline and the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, then pursued a PhD in Pharmacy with a focus on drug design at the University of Nottingham. Siva currently works as an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, and has a passion for cooking and gardening.
