Máire O’Neill
Director of ECIT and PI of the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), Queen’s University Belfast
Regius Professor in Electronics and Computer Engineering and Director of the Centre for Secure Information Technologies at Queen’s University Belfast. Marie is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a member of the Royal Irish Academy and Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering. She is also Director of the UK research Institute in Secure Hardware and Embedded Systems. Her research focuses on hardware security and applied cryptography. She was awarded an OBE in 2021.
