The International Working Group was established in 2024 to oversee the international activities and profile of the UK Young Academy, working to establish the Young Academy’s international strategy and support the achievement of its global aims and objectives.

The Working Group works to identify international organisations, networks, and meetings relevant to the UK Young Academy, and to establish guidance for international interactions on behalf of the membership. It assesses and responds to requests for international participation and collaboration, and works to build meaningful partnerships with organisations and networks across the globe.
